Application Process
Highly qualified candidates with diverse backgrounds and degrees in computer sciences, engineering, biology, physics, biophysics, mathematics, chemistry, or related subjects are invited to apply no later than December 15th of each year.
Applications should be submitted directly online at the UCSD Graduate Application Website following the online submission instructions for graduate Ph.D. research. Each application should indicate your interest in the Plant Systems Biology Program. Applicants can apply through any of these departments:
• Biological
Sciences Graduate Program
• Bioengineering
Graduate Program
• Computer
Science and Engineering Graduate Program
NSF requires that graduate students supported by the Plant Systems Biology training grant receive an annual stipend of $30,000 for two years of their IGERT studies.
