Honeybees are not native to the Brazil, but
this photo shows an Africanized honeybee feeding on a flower in the
state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Why did we choose this photo? Africanized
honeybees are common in Brazil due to their invasive success and
their cultivation by beekeepers. Many of the bees that you find on
flowers in Brazil are therefore honeybees. This image illustrates what one commonly
sees in Brazil but also demonstrates the importance of learning more
