Oceanview Growing Grounds Community Garden

Julian Schroeder and lab members have worked for several years with the local community at the Oceanview Growing Grounds Community Garden and the Global Action Research Center to help ensure food safety of freshly grown foods at the Growing Grounds, test samples, provide advice and collaborate with the community. The Ocean Growing Grounds community garden helps address the problem of urban food deserts and provides a space for community and cultural activities.
